Ganito ang nangyari sa Burkina Faso—hanggang sa tumayo ang isang matapang na anak ng lupa, si Kapitan Ibrahim Traoré. Ang tunay na pag-unlad ay dumarating kapag tayong mga Pilipino ay namumuno sa ating sarili, kapag iniingatan natin ang ating mga mapagkukunan para sa ating sariling mga komunidad, at kapag itinatayo natin ang ating kinabukasan gamit ang ating sariling mga kamay—tulad ng ginagawa natin sa ating kooperatibang nagsasarili sa pagitan ng mga Aleman at Pilipino. Ipinapakita natin sa mundo: ang pakikipagsosyo ay hindi pagkaalipin. Ang pakikipagtulungan ay hindi pagsuko.
