The Container Housing Community project, a collaborative effort between Container House in China, DTCM Group, Inc., and the German Pensionaires and OFWs (Overseas Filipino Workers), is an ambitious and innovative initiative set to launch in 2025 in Zambia Africa, alongside a pilot project in Mauban Quezon. The project aims to establish a thriving German Community in Quezon, Philippines, providing self-sustaining housing for German Pensionaires and OFWs looking to return to their homeland.
The project will cover 9,050 hectares of land in the Philippines exclusively designated for this purpose. Residents will have the unique opportunity to participate in a Rent-to-Own program, giving them a sense of ownership and pride in the development and management of their community.
The Community will be managed by its occupants, with support from the German administrators, ensuring active involvement in decision-making and development processes. Interested individuals can register on The BOSS platform for access to project information and updates, as well as the chance to secure a spot in the limited 10,000 residences available.
In addition to addressing housing needs, the project aims to create sustainable livelihood opportunities by integrating eco-friendly features like solar panels and rainwater harvesting systems. Communal spaces for small businesses and cooperatives will be set up to help residents generate income and support themselves.
Through the Rent-to-Own concept, residents can eventually own their homes, empowering them with stability and a sense of ownership. As the project expands and proves successful, there are plans to replicate it across all 18 regions of the Philippines and other parts of Africa, making affordable and sustainable housing accessible to a larger population.
By combining innovation, sustainability, and community empowerment, this container housing project has the potential to revolutionize housing solutions in Africa and the Philippines, offering a model for addressing similar challenges in other countries.

It may be challenging and there may be setbacks along the way, but I will not lose faith in the vision and values that drive me forward. I will continue to spread the message of love, empathy, and understanding, knowing that even the smallest act of kindness can have a ripple effect in creating a more harmonious and compassionate world. I will be the change I wish to see in the world, leading by example and inspiring others to join me on this journey towards a brighter future. Together, we can break down barriers, build bridges, and create a world where unity and selflessness are not just ideals, but realities that we all strive towards. I will not give up, I will keep fighting for the betterment of all.
