From deep within solid bedrock to the flowing currents of a river, gold follows a remarkable geological journey shaped by time, pressure, and gravity.

It begins in bedrock gold veins, where mineral-rich fluids once moved through fractures in the Earth’s crust, depositing gold as they cooled and solidified. Over millions of years, weathering and erosion break down the surrounding rock, releasing gold particles into the weathered rock zone.

Guided by gravity, these particles travel downhill along natural slopes in a gravity transport path, carried by rain, runoff, and streams. As the gold moves into river systems, its high density causes it to settle in specific locations. In calmer sections of the river, gold accumulates in gravel bars, forming what is known as river placer gold.

During floods and high-water events, sediments are redistributed across floodplains, spreading gold into new alluvial deposits. This natural process explains why gold can be found far from its original bedrock source
