Matapos buksan ang napakaraming kurtina ng pag-asa — pamayanan, kabuhayan, tahanan, negosyo, pakikipagtulungan sa ibang bansa, at kinabukasang itatayo ng karaniwang tao — minsan ay nagtataka tayo kung bakit iilan lamang ang humahakbang pasulong.

Marahil hindi dahil wala silang pakialam.

Marahil ang pangitain ay sadyang napakalaki, kaya hindi pa nila nakikita kung saan sila maaaring makibahagi.

At marahil iyan ang ating tungkulin bilang mga taga-bukas ng kurtina: hindi ang pilitin ang lahat na maniwala sa buong pangarap, kundi ipakita ang unang hakbang kung saan sila maaaring maging bahagi nito.

May mahalaga tayong natutunan sa ating paglalakbay.

Ang apoy ay hindi laging nagmumula sa iba. Minsan, ang mga taong may dalang pangitain ang dapat magdala ng unang apoy.

Iyan ang ating layunin.

Perhaps we have been asking the wrong question.

After opening so many curtains of possibility — community, livelihood, housing, entrepreneurship, international cooperation and a future built by ordinary people — we sometimes wonder why so few have stepped forward.

Maybe it is not because people do not care.

Maybe the vision is simply so large that people don't yet see where they fit into it.

And perhaps that is our responsibility as curtain-pullers: not to keep asking people to believe in the whole dream, but to reveal the first place where they can become part of it.

We have learned something important along the way.

A spark does not always come from the audience. Sometimes the people carrying the vision must bring the first flame.

That is what we intend to do.

We are not waiting for someone to rescue our future.
We are not begging anyone to join us.
We are not asking anyone to believe blindly.

We are building a system where people can see, question, participate, verify, contribute and eventually take ownership.

Our conversations with international partners have shown us that collaboration becomes possible when a vision is connected to something concrete — land, production, housing, enterprise, technology, skills, trade and real human needs.

Now we want to bring that same spirit to Berlin.

The Berlin 64 is not a dream because 64 people are already waiting somewhere.
It is a dream because somewhere, the first few people must decide to become the beginning.

Perhaps we have been looking for the spark in others.

We no longer need to.

We will bring the spark.

And then we will simply ask:

Who is willing to help us turn that spark into a flame?

Perhaps we have been asking the wrong question.

After opening so many curtains of possibility — community, livelihood, housing, entrepreneurship, international cooperation and a future built by ordinary people — we sometimes wonder why so few have stepped forward.

Maybe it is not because people do not care.

Maybe the vision is simply so large that people don't yet see where they fit into it.

And perhaps that is our responsibility as curtain-pullers: not to keep asking people to believe in the whole dream, but to reveal the first place where they can become part of it.

We have learned something important along the way.

A spark does not always come from the audience. Sometimes the people carrying the vision must bring the first flame.

That is what we intend to do.

We are not waiting for someone to rescue our future.
We are not begging anyone to join us.
We are not asking anyone to believe blindly.

We are building a system where people can see, question, participate, verify, contribute and eventually take ownership.

Our conversations with international partners have shown us that collaboration becomes possible when a vision is connected to something concrete — land, production, housing, enterprise, technology, skills, trade and real human needs.

Now we want to bring that same spirit to Berlin.

The Berlin 64 is not a dream because 64 people are already waiting somewhere.
