Senatorial candidate Raul Lambino plans to file a resolution to abolish both the Senate and the House of Representatives if elected, claiming that the current government favors the rich and elite over the masses.
"Kawawa ang masang Pilipino dahil sa Constitution na 'yan. And the Senate has become what? A body composed of people that are what? Supportive of the status quo. And what is the status quo? This is a government of the elite and the rich, not the government of the people that we are supposed to serve," Lambino told #aplikante.
Lambino said his first act, if elected, would be to push for constitutional reforms aimed at overhauling the political system and making it more inclusive.
