Atty. Panelo warns current administration shows “dictatorial tendencies'
According to Atty. Salvador "Sal Panalo” Panelo, the administration of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. no longer follows constitutional processes, and have been prosecuting their enemies using government agencies, among others, warning that the president allows such transgressions contrary to the Constitution.
"When the powers that be do not follow constitutional processes outlined by the Constitution, like the impeachment to eliminate a leading contender to the 2028 presidential campaign, using law enforcement agents to file charges against critics and political enemies, and impose their will that serve only their interests, or to perpetuate themselves in power, and the head of state allows such constitutional transgressions, such demeanor smacks of dictatorial tendencies," Panelo said.
