Recently, after sharing publicly who I am, what I have been doing and what I am trying to build, I received ridicule and negative comments.
Some people even suggested that I must need psychiatric treatment simply because the vision appears too ambitious or difficult to understand.
So let me be clear.
I am not asking everyone to believe me.
I am not asking anyone to follow me blindly.
And I am certainly not claiming that everything is already accomplished.
I am saying that there is a vision, a plan, groundwork, potential partners and opportunities that are being developed.
The 34,000 hectares I have referred to are part of an opportunity we are working with on the ground. But until the proper MOA and documentation are formally secured, I will not claim that it belongs to us. Documentation comes first.
That is how I want this project to operate.
No empty promises.
No imaginary money.
No shortcuts.
No blind trust.
Proof. Documentation. Transparency. Verification. Results.
Yes, the Philippines presents enormous challenges. We have bureaucracy, corruption, competing interests, distrust and people who are quick to criticize anything that appears unconventional.
But there is also another side.
Millions of ordinary Filipinos simply want a better opportunity for themselves and their families.
Give people something real β something that can create jobs, income, dignity and a future β and the conversation can change.
That is the challenge we have chosen.
We are still at the bottleneck.
The groundwork is being prepared.
The structure is being developed.
The right people are being identified.
And the first spark of capital and trust is still what we are looking for.
Maybe people will laugh.
Maybe people will say it is impossible.
That's okay.
I don't need to win an argument on Facebook.
I need to build something that can eventually demonstrate its own value.
And when that day comes, I won't need to explain very much.
The results will speak.
So to those who think I am crazy:
Perhaps.
But I would rather be called crazy while attempting something constructive than spend the rest of my life complaining about everything that is wrong.
If we don't at least try to build something better β who will?
