Subject:
A Short History of the Journey — From Vision to Implementation
Dear Family, Partners and Friends,
I am sharing with you an updated version of our project history, beginning with a document I originally wrote several years ago.
I decided to bring it back because, when I read it again today, I could see something important: the original vision has not disappeared. It has evolved.
What began as an idea has gradually developed through years of thinking, discussion, testing, correction and learning. Some concepts have changed, some have been simplified, and others have become much more concrete.
The purpose of this document is therefore not simply to look back.
It is to show the journey from where we started to where we are today.
I have added a new prologue to explain why I believe this history is worth sharing publicly and why the next stage of the project must increasingly be demonstrated through practical examples rather than words alone.
You will see that the principles remain familiar:
cooperation, transparency, sustainability, discipline, accountability and Bayanihan.
What is changing is our approach.
We are now moving progressively from planning toward prototypes, controlled testing, feedback, correction and implementation.
That is also why the current work involving the Schedule 3 format, the Australian and Singapore testing process, the Berlin group and the potential Chinese supply partners is important. Each of these pieces is part of a much larger journey.
I am sharing this with everyone so that we are not looking at individual documents or activities in isolation.
They are pieces of the same story.
Please read it whenever you have the time. I am not asking anyone to agree with every idea contained in it. I would much rather that everyone understands where the ideas came from, how they have evolved, and why we are taking the steps we are taking today.
Constructive criticism, questions and different perspectives remain welcome.
After all, the objective has never been to create something that depends on one person's ideas.
The objective is to build something that can eventually stand on its own.
Thank you to everyone who has remained part of this journey—whether from Berlin, Australia, Singapore, China, the Philippines or elsewhere.
We are still building.
And perhaps the most important change is that we are no longer simply asking,
“Can this vision work?”
We are beginning to ask,
“How do we build it, test it, correct it and make it work in the real world?”
That is the next chapter.
Warm regards,
Arsenio Antonio
