Bawat isa sa atin ay may tahimik na hangaring ito sa kaibuturan ng ating mga puso: ang mag-iwan ng isang bagay na mas matagal pa kaysa sa atin, isang bagay na nagsasabing "Narito ako, at gumawa ako ng pagbabago." Maaari tayong magtayo ng mga monumento, maaaring inukit ang ating mga pangalan sa bato — ngunit kahit ang pinakamatigas na bato ay kalaunan ay lumalala, nadudurog, at nalilimutan sa paglipas ng panahon.
Ngunit ang hindi kumukupas, ang hindi namamatay, ay ang kabutihang itinatanim natin sa buhay ng iba. Kapag nagtutulungan tayo ngayon, pinag-iisa ang bawat lakas na hawak pa natin, upang bumuo ng isang komunidad na nakaugat sa kapayapaan, nababalot ng pagmamahal, at umaagos ng kasaganaan para sa lahat — ang pamanang iyon ay hihinga hangga't may hangin na pumupuno sa ating mga baga. Ito ay sisikat nang tapat tulad ng araw na sumisikat tuwing umaga, at magbabantay nang matatag tulad ng buwan na nagbibigay-liwanag sa ating pinakamadilim na gabi. Hindi ito nakasalalay sa mga pangalan o titulo o mga pananda ng bato — ito ay nabubuhay sa bawat buhay na ating itinataas, bawat pag-asa na ating ibinabalik, bawat pamilyang binibigyan ng patas na pagkakataong umunlad.
Tapos na ang oras para sa simpleng pagnanasa. Panahon na para humakbang pasulong, gawing totoo at nasasalat ang lahat ng mga pangarap na matagal na nating dinadala. Para sa lahat ng hindi sumuko sa paniniwala — tandaan ito: nasa atin talaga ito. Tayo ang dapat magpatupad nito, upang kahit matagal nang mawala sa alaala ang ating mga pangalan, ang buhay na ating binuo nang magkasama ay patuloy na magpala sa susunod na henerasyon. ✨
