Vetrobalsamo was founded in 1938 in Cinisello Balsamo as an artisanal glass fusion factory. In 1970, following its acquisition by the Reina family, the company began its expansion: in 1998, it moved to Sesto San Giovanni, occupying an area of approximately 300,000 m².
Vetrobalsamo is a true URBAN FACTORY, just a few metro stops from the center of Milan, creating classic and modern products with innovative designs, blending sustainability and creativity.
It was the first factory in Italy, and among the first in Europe, to use oxygen instead of air as an oxidizer since 1998, producing approximately 750,000 high-quality, eco-friendly bottles daily.
Vetrobalsamo holds a leading position in the rankings of companies active in glass and process water recycling.
The heat generated by production plants is recovered and used to heat the homes of Sesto San Giovanni and Milan through district heating.
